Jeanette is the founding director of the Company. She left a lucrative banking career in 1990 to pursue her passion in working with families and teaching young children. She is a BBA graduate and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Child Development (GDCD) with the University of Melbourne. Since 1991, Jeanette has been instrumental in the operations of DEL-Care. She ensures that DEL-Care consistently delivers high-quality service that equips children with self-confidence, positive character traits, knowledge and skills necessary for success in life.

Lee Hiang is a BBA Honours graduate and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Child Development (GDCD) from the University of Melbourne. Despite her heavy work schedule in the financial service industry, her keen interest in the field of early childhood education draws her to work with a non-profit organisation, contributing to its children’s programmes. Lee Hiang also plays an active role in DEL-Care. Out of her personal commitment in time and energy, she collaborates closely with DEL-Care’s key staff in drawing up high-quality early childhood programmes.
For more than 10 years, Lee Choo supervised DEL-Care’s operations at our then Pasir Ris Centre. Lee Choo remains a key personnel in the operations of our centre. With more than fifteen years experience in working with children in pre-school settings, Lee Choo believes strongly that early childhood education can significantly impact the development of a child’s self-esteem, character, confidence, skills and intelligence.
Jesmin has been in the early childhood education industry for the past 9 years. She is currently a Head Teacher for the Playgroup and Toddler classes. Like the “Piper Piper of Hamilton” kids are attracted to her jovial and fun nature. Often thinking out the box, Jesmin is not afraid to use unconventional activities to make learning fun.
A total of 13 qualified teachers are involved in developing our pre-school children between the ages of >16 months and < 7 years old. The children are divided into five class groups with two teachers assigned to each class. An English-speaking teacher and Mandarin-speaking teacher are assigned to each class group.
85% of the teachers hold at least Diploma in Pre-School –Teaching while the balance 15% holds Certificate in Pre-School Teaching.
A total of 14 Educarers are involved in caring and developing a maximum of 20 infants in our centre. 2 Educarers are Enrolled/State Registered Nurses while another 9 Educarers are trained in Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care. Another 3 Educarers are experienced carers they used to be home babysitters.
